2025 Artists in Residence Show


The Brinton Museum’s annual Artists in Residence exhibition returns this September with new works created on-site by three talented artists: Russ Mowry, David Mensing, and Scott Yeager. Each artist was invited to spend two weeks at The Brinton during the 2024 season, working in and around the Quarter Circle A Ranch to produce original pieces inspired by the landscape, culture, and spirit of the Bighorn Mountains. This exhibition offers a unique glimpse into the creative process and the diverse ways artists interpret place through their chosen mediums.

The exhibition runs from September 6th through October 19th in Jacomien Mars Reception Gallery. Purchased pieces will be availble for pick-up through the Museum Store beginning October 20th. Pieces needing shipped will be packaged by late October; purchasers will be contacted (via phone) for shipping fee and delivery confirmation.
